The MerrieLynn's Story

The seed for MerrieLynn's Specialty Nuts & Sweets was planted when Merrie and her husband bought an old Victorian house to renovate and turn into a Bed & Breakfast Inn. They didn't realize they’d also acquired a few pecan trees. As Merrie developed recipes for their B&B guests, pecans found their way onto the breakfast menu and showed up in Pecan-crusted French Toast, Maple-Pecan Chocolate-stuffed French Toast and Lemon Souffle Pecan Pancakes. It was just a matter of time before Merrie was perfecting recipes for Chocolate Pecan Butter Crunch, Praline Pecans and Bourbon Pecans.

Shipping:
Please note that we use US Priority Mail (usually 2-3 day delivery) that's fast and reasonable.  (Please call us to discuss shipping charges for large orders over 20 pecan products or over 6 gift boxes or for multiple shipping addresses.)

Our gourmet pecans, brownies and pecan candies are handmade in small batches using the finest ingredients.  We start with the biggest and fattest Fancy #1 Mammoth Pecan Halves (not pieces) we can find.  We add real unsalted butter & cream, pure vanilla, quality spices and flavorings. We do not add any preservatives or chemicals.

At MerrieLynn’s, we believe you should be able to see the nut, to taste and enjoy the pecan without being overwhelmed by a candy coating. For that reason, most of our sugar coated pecans have a light coating that complements the rich flavor of a quality pecan.
 
To maintain freshness, we use either heat-sealed resealable 3 mil clear plastic bags or "high barrier" cellophane bags.
